From the heart of Trinidad to the soul of America, my culinary journey has been a lifelong adventure filled with passion, tradition, and love. Growing up as the eldest of 10 siblings, I naturally took on the role of the family cook, whipping up meals for my brothers and sisters with creativity and joy. Cooking was never just a chore for me—it was a way to bring people together, to celebrate, and to share a bit of my heritage.

For years, I cooked for friends, businesses, and church events, never asking for anything in return. It wasn’t until I lost my beloved mother to COVID-19 in 2021 that I realized how much she believed in my culinary talent. She always encouraged me to turn my love of cooking into a business. Her passing was the catalyst I needed to turn her dream—and mine—into reality.

After having a revelation, I started making distinctive, flavorful eggrolls that combine the rich, spicy flavors of Trinidad with American comfort food. These eggrolls were just the beginning, as I began to explore new recipes that fuse my Trinidadian roots with modern twists. The response was overwhelming, and my journey as the Trini-Merican Cook took off, leading me to cater at festivals and events across the region.

Today, I bring a touch of island flair to every dish I create. My cooking is a tribute to my mother's legacy, a fusion of tradition and innovation that offers a culinary experience like no other. Welcome to a taste of the Caribbean with an American twist—welcome to my world.
